Colour Abstractions

I finished the colour exercise for this week.  First we were to make up a pallet of colours which included 2 prismatic colours, 2 muted, 2 chromatic greys, 1 high key and 1 low key colour.   Luckily the teacher warned us that this would produce a wacky and illogical collection of colours.

Next we had to use the pallet in 3 paintings --
1.  an abstract just to play with the colours.
2.  an abstract that creates an illusion of spatial depth
3.  a still life or landscape that also creates spatial depth.
